Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking an entry-level Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism in Atlantic, IA. Positions start as part-time roles, with training provided and possibilities for advancement as you gain experience.

You will work one-on-one with clients in homes or community settings, implementing ABA care plans under supervision, recording data, and collaborating with a clinical team. No prior experience required beyond RBT certification readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and make a positive impact for children with Autism.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
