Job summary

Carthage Plant (Choctaw) in Carthage, Mississippi is hiring for General Production Labor on the 2nd shift. This is an entry-level, non-skilled role focused on maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies.

You may work in DSI, Debone, Deli lines, or Evisceration areas. Applicants should be prepared to stand 8-10 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in damp, cold, or hot environments while wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• Be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
• Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection, hair net and beard guard.
• May involve use of knives, saws or skinner machines in some roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level non-skilled general labor tasks.
• Work in various areas of Fresh Processing including DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration.
• Adhere to Tyson policies and emphasize safety at all times.
