Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will handle transactions, assist with bagging, and maintain a clean, organized front end to help every visit end on a positive note.

Responsibilities include accurately processing purchases, handling cash, card, and digital payments, staying adaptable to changing tasks, and upholding store policies while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at checkout with a friendly demeanor.
• Process purchases accurately across cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain accuracy in scanning, pricing, and transaction completion.
• Keep the front end clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Support bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and general front-end upkeep.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures.
