Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident under RCW 41.14.100 and able to read/write/speak English.
• Must meet Civil Service pre-employment standards and pass background, polygraph, and psychological evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Receives, books, fingerprint/photograph inmates and maintains custody.
• Maintains jail security and order through observations, searches, and routine duties.
• Transports inmates to court and other locations; documents dispositions and maintains records.
