Job summary

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position with Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), contributing to a team servicing vehicles. You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire/maintenance tasks, and support a collaborative workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
