Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or closely related field with a focus on theoretical quantum optics.
  • Deep expertise in quantum optics including coherence, entanglement, cavity QED or nonlinear optics.
  • Strong background in mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of photonic/quantum systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB or C++.
  • Published research in leading journals; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop theoretical models of quantum photonic devices for entropy quantum computing.
  • Perform simulations of optical components and integrated photonic circuits to guide design.
  • Explore new architectures in quantum optics to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Contribute to algorithm-hardware co-design with photonic implementations.
  • Develop quantum algorithms compatible with entropy computing with the scientific computing group at QCi.
  • Publish and present research outcomes in journals and conferences.
