Job summary

Southern Bancorp Community Partners is seeking a Community Outreach professional to expand programs targeting underserved communities in the Little Rock area. You will build referral networks, recruit entrepreneurs, and facilitate economic education services.

The role requires strong communication, travel to markets, and collaboration with local partners to expand access to capital and credit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in business, finance, or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred; ability to travel to assigned markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by networking with local communities and generating referrals for programs.
• Cultivate relationships with community partners to align with mission and markets.
• Build a pipeline of program participants through outreach, referrals, and direct recruitment.
• Conduct presentations and outreach to raise awareness of programs for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
• Provide prompt, friendly service with problem-solving focus; refer clients to financial counselors.
• Track outreach activities and recruitment outcomes to support goals.
