Job summary

Programmers.io seeks an Entra ID Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage Azure AD authentication and authorization solutions. You will lead app onboarding, RBAC setups, and MFA/SSO deployments to strengthen enterprise security.

You will configure OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML flows, build conditional access policies, and monitor security with Azure Sentinel while collaborating with DevOps and development teams to ensure compliant, scalable IAM.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Azure Active Directory identity and access management.
• Experience implementing MFA and SSO for enterprise environments.
• Strong exp with OAuth, OpenID Connect and SAML authentication flows.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting conditional access policies.
• Experience with Azure Sentinel for monitoring and automation.
• Knowledge of identity governance and privileged access management (PIM).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure AD security solutions for authentication and authorization.
• Onboard applications, register apps, set up enterprise apps, and manage RBAC.
• Lead MFA and SSO implementations for secure access.
• Configure and troubleshoot OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML authentication flows.
• Set up conditional access policies based on context and device posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IAM issues and scale solutions.
• Stay updated on Azure security best practices and threat intelligence.
• Leverage Azure Sentinel for monitoring, alerts, and automation; respond to incidents.
• Provide production support for IAM, incident response, and governance workflows.
• Establish identity governance frameworks including PIM for elevated access.
• Work with DevOps to ensure secure identity and access pipelines.

Job description

• Design| implement| and manage Azure Active Directory solutions to ensure secure and efficient authentication and authorization processes aligned with industry best practices
• Drive the onboarding of applications| app registration| enterprise application setup| and role-based access management (RBAC).
• Lead the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) for enhanced security.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting authentication protocols| including OAuth| OpenID Connect| and SAML for secure authentication and authorization
• Configure and manage conditional access policies to control access based on specific conditions| locations| and device compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and troubleshoot IAM-related issues| ensuring solutions are secure| compliant| and scalable.
• Understand and implement security best practices for Azure products| services| and solutions.
• Utilize Azure Sentinel for monitoring| creating alerts| and developing automation scripts for incident response.
• Provide production support| responding to and resolving security incidents in a timely manner.
