Spectrum Brands is seeking an entomology scientist for the Earth City Laboratory to support development of our outdoor insect repellent and control product portfolio. The role involves conducting laboratory and field assays, data management, and collaboration across marketing, formulation, and regulatory teams.

You will maintain lab notebooks, follow SOPs, and travel infrequently to conferences and CRO locations, while working primarily in a lab/office setting with some remote days.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting entomological assays in an industry setting.
• Experience with data management for lab and field data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting technical product development.

Responsabilités

• Run experiments in lab and field and maintain excellent records.
• Work with insects (urban/outdoor pests) during assays.
• Prepare and administer experimental treatments safely, following SOPs.
• Collaborate with entomology, formulation and R&D teams to support projects.
• Support cross-functional product development by providing entomological insights.
