Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Planning professional to manage entitlement activities from concept to approval for residential development projects in a collaborative office setting.

You will coordinate with municipalities, consultants, and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and on-track timelines, applying advanced planning knowledge to solve moderately complex issues and guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, architecture, environmental studies, geography, public policy, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in planning, entitlement, community development or related fields; or 9–11 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage entitlement and planning documents submission, tracking, and reviews.
• Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and utilities for approvals.
• Lead external consultants to align deliverables with timelines and requirements.
• Analyze regulations to determine feasibility and constraints for development.
• Collaborate with land acquisition, development, construction, design, and operations teams.
• Prepare reports, entitlement schedules, and planning analyses for leadership.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
