Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with a Top-Secret/SCI clearance and polygraph to develop data visualization tools and mentor a cross-functional team. The role requires extensive SWE experience and a strong background in data modeling and visualization.

The candidate will build complex visualizations, deploy visualization solutions and contribute to innovative approaches for mission-focused projects. Growth in a technically strong, collaborative environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Description

Develops, implements and supports the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Required skills:

• Experience with developing software using Python or Java
• Experience in creating complex multi-dimensional visualizations that are easy to understand, including options such as cascading, time-shifting, dynamic, and drill down
• Experience in data modeling, including normalization of data and working with metrics
• Experience in exploring unique and out-of-the-box visualization techniques and how they can be applied to networks
• Experience with creating static presentations and static web pages
• Experience with developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with leading small cross functional teams
