Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking engineers to join a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on innovative data visualization solutions. The role requires a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and fourteen years of SWE experience with a CS degree.

You will develop, deploy, and support advanced visualizations and data models, mentoring a cross-functional team. Candidates should be proficient in Python or Java, and experienced with web-based server apps and relational databases

• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Description

Develops, implements and supports the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills

• Experience with developing software using Python or Java
• Experience in creating complex multi-dimensional visualizations that are easy to understand, including options such as cascading, time-shifting, dynamic, and drill down
• Experience in data modeling, including normalization of data and working with metrics
• Experience in exploring unique and out-of-the-box visualization techniques and how they can be applied to networks
• Experience with creating static presentations and static web pages
• Experience with developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with leading small cross functional teams
