Job summary

Enterprise Technology Research (ETR) is seeking a Research Analyst for the Analytics team. This remote-friendly role blends data analysis and narrative research, using Python, SQL and AI tools to turn survey results into actionable insights for investors.

You will design end-to-end surveys, write narrative market research, and incorporate client feedback to prioritize projects. The position is remote-friendly across the US, with mentorship and exposure to leading investors.

Qualifications

• Enterprise technology domain knowledge across software, hardware, cloud, infra, IT services, semis.
• Survey design skills to craft unbiased questions and logical questionnaire flow.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, plus comfort with LLMs for research synthesis and drafting.
• 3+ years in market or industry research, equity research, data analysis, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong analytical writing translating data into actionable investor-focused narratives.
• Experience serving financial services clients or familiarity with investor consumption of research is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, STEM or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design surveys end to end based on research objectives, conducting desk research to inform questions and structure.
• Turn survey results into insights by combining data with market context and narrative research.
• Incorporate client feedback into survey design and research prioritization to reflect market concerns.
• Build with modern tooling (Python, SQL, and LLM workflows) for data processing, synthesis, and drafting.
