Job summary

PNY Technologies Inc. in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking an Enterprise Systems Test Technician to prepare, configure, test, and troubleshoot enterprise server and storage systems in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has strong hardware diagnostics skills and is comfortable working with complex computing equipment, with responsibilities spanning test setup, validation, troubleshooting, and documentation in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
2+ years in hardware testing or related technical field.
Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and system-level issues.
Basic networking concepts including Ethernet and IP addressing.

Responsibilities

Prepare and connect server and storage systems to designated test environments.
Execute functional, performance, diagnostic, and burn-in testing with approved software and procedures.
Monitor test progress, review logs, and verify pass/fail criteria.
Investigate hardware, software, networking, and configuration issues identified during testing.
Isolate failed components and perform corrective actions; retest after repairs.
Document test results and actions in manufacturing/inventory systems; maintain QA records.
Support movement, staging, and preparation of systems during testing.
Participate in continuous improvement to enhance testing efficiency and quality.
