Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. in Green Bay, WI seeks a Senior IT leader to guide technology strategy across converting operations. You’ll lead a team of systems professionals, partner with plant leaders, and translate complex business needs into scalable tech solutions.

You’ll strengthen our systems landscape by developing people, simplifying processes, and driving modernization while ensuring reliable operations and effective data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT field.
• 10+ years in enterprise apps, ERP, manufacturing systems, integrations.
• 5+ years leading tech or business systems professionals.
• Experience with complex enterprise apps, implementations, upgrades, and modernization.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and processes (production, supply chain, scheduling).
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
• Experience partnering across IT and business teams; vendor & project management.
• Experience driving standardization and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to develop teams and cross-train.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, support, and ongoing improvement of technology systems supporting converting operations.
• Develop and maintain a systems roadmap aligned with business needs and IT strategy.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, integrate, and modernize systems and processes.
• Ensure applications and data are reliable, secure, scalable, and well-managed.
• Partner with business and plant leaders to understand needs and develop scalable tech solutions.
• Lead cross-functional decisions involving processes, systems, data, integrations, and responsibilities.
• Manage technology partners, vendors, consultants, and key application relationships.
• Oversee system performance, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, releases, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, administrators, developers, and other tech professionals.
• Build strong team capabilities, ownership, documentation, and processes to reduce vendor dependence.
