You will collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to elicit requirements and drive technical decisions.

Candidates will work with the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution and reviews.

Description

We are seeking a Technical Requirements Systems Engineer to support TO-005, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD) and assist with overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system. Candidates should be passionate about collaboratively solving challenging problems and have a track record of delivering high-quality solutions. Candidates will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition. Candidates will work closely with the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos.

This position allows for partial telework.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline orfour additional years’ software engineering experience. Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years' experience.

Required skills:

• Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
• Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
• Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
• Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Desired skills:

• Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture
• Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems
