Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Engineering Specialist for Enterprise Systems Engineering, onsite at its Chantilly, VA location. You will shape portfolio-level missions through enterprise architecture, system-of-systems thinking, and data-driven analyses in collaboration with government customers and program offices.
Responsibilities include leading MBSE initiatives, delivering technical recommendations, and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or related technical discipline.
- Experience in systems engineering, enterprise systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, and/or digital engineering.
- Familiar with MBSE modeling languages and tools (SysML, Cameo, SparX EA).
- Willing to travel domestically ~5–10% and hold an active security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise architecture, system-of-systems engineering, and strategic planning that shapes portfolio-level missions.
- Develop portfolio-level models and roadmaps to enable data-driven decisions across cross-organizational challenges.
- Bridge government, internal initiatives, and partners to create cohesive enterprise-level solutions.
- Lead high-impact studies and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership and customers.
