Enterprise Systems Architect - Level II


Location: 100% Remote (Minimal Travel Required)


Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role: LinTech Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Architect - Level II to support our contract with the IRS - Criminal Investigation division. This role combines enterprise-level strategic planning with deep technical expertise in systems architecture, cloud engineering, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and integrating complex systems within federal government environments, aligning IT solutions with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with federal standards.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Enterprise Architecture Leadership:

    • Design and maintain enterprise architecture across all Tech Ops domains, aligning with business needs and federal requirements.

    • Lead efforts to modernize, unify, and integrate IT systems, reducing silos, improving scalability, and increasing ROI.

    • Develop and implement architecture roadmaps, technical reference models, and standard operating procedures in accordance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP).



  • Cloud Engineering & Infrastructure:

    • Architect secure, efficient, and scalable cloud solutions across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

    • Oversee infrastructure modernization, including networking, virtualization, disaster recovery, and storage.



  • Cybersecurity Integration:

    • Design and implement security frameworks, threat modeling, and incident response plans to protect federal data and ensure compliance.

    • Integrate cybersecurity best practices into all phases of enterprise architecture and solution development.



  • Technology Strategy & Risk Management:

    • Capture and prioritize business and technical requirements for current and emerging needs.

    • Develop investment, risk, and financial models to support sound IT decision-making.

    • Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies (e.g., AI/ML, IoT, blockchain) for mission advancement.



  • Collaboration & Governance:

    • Engage with federal stakeholders, project managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into architectural solutions.

    • Ensure architecture aligns with governance standards and supports continued business value delivery.



  • Documentation & Standards:

    • Develop architecture documentation, including EA blueprints, data models, policies, and procedures.

    • Establish and maintain data architecture, standards, and lifecycle management processes.




Required Qualifications:



  • Clearable US Citizen that is able to pass a background investigation in order to obtain a federal security clearance.

  • Master's degree with at least 4 years of specialized experience OR Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of specialized experience in enterprise or systems architecture.

  • Proven experience supporting federal government contracts and navigating related procurement and compliance requirements.

  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, FEAF, Zachman).

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.

  • Hands-on experience with cross-platform integration, large-scale system design, and DevSecOps or Agile/SAFe methodologies.

  • Ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide architecture and technology modernization strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, PMP, ITIL, or CDP.

  • Proficiency with EA modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx Enterprise Architect).

  • Experience with emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT) and data governance practices.

  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines and tools in secure environments.
