Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a System Integration Engineer to manage Linux and Windows platforms, perform installations, testing, and integration across field sites and lab environments. You will develop documentation and provide Tier 3 support to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.

The role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, a four-year technical degree, and several years of hands-on experience in software integration, testing, and system administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, with four years of related experience.
• Four additional years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s may substitute for two years.
• Experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications; develop documentation for deployments and troubleshooting.
• Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot IT systems; prepare system baselines and configuration files for new deployments or upgrades.

Description

We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications. Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration. Perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments. Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations. Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for new deployments or system upgrades. Provide in-depth trouble‑shooting of IT systems.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
