Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Strategy Manager to serve as a strategic advisor to the CAO of HCPD. The role translates complex priorities into clearly defined strategies, financially grounded plans, and measurable results across the enterprise.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop enterprise business plans, identify risks, and align initiatives with the CAO and campus goals, delivering decision-ready materials and executive-level analysis.

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five years of related experience/training.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational strategy, strategic planning, business planning, performance management, and complex initiative execution.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Experience developing business cases, business plans, executive recommendations, implementation roadmaps, governance models, and decision support materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CAO of HCPD and translate priorities into strategies and executable plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Health System and Campus partners.
• Develop enterprise business plans, cost saving and revenue enhancement opportunities, and governance models.
• Prepare decision-ready information and executive reporting materials for leadership.
