Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. in Longmont, CO is seeking a qualified Systems Build-Out Engineer to join our team. You will perform client and enterprise system build-outs at scale, document performance logs, and manage inventory for lab components.

You will work with internal automation, test infrastructure, NVMe specs, and Linux environments to identify issues and propose practical solutions. Excellent problem-solving and communication required.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and experimental design skills.
• Experience with PC components and systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and test automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs client and enterprise system build-outs at scale, identifying opportunities for efficiency gain and/or process improvement.
• Documents completed work with detailed performance logs and build procedures.
• Manages inventory at scale of components that contribute to lab systems.
• Assesses the health of equipment being built and test runs being executed.
• Proactively calls out any perceived issues while offering creative solutions to solve the team’s biggest problems.
• Executes daily/weekly test cases using internal automation or vendor software.
• Performs first level triage of test failures, requiring knowledge of test infrastructure, NVMe and other industry spec.
