Job summary

The role develops data lifecycle models, secure storage with encryption and auditing, and backup solutions for rapid recovery. You will optimize performance, collaborate with FinOps, and work on cost-effective storage strategies across varied workloads.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in cloud storage solutions, hybrid storage integration, and data lifecycle management.
• Alternative: Master's degree and five (5) years in cloud storage solutions, hybrid storage integration, and data lifecycle management.

Enterprise Solutions Architect, Principal

Design and optimize scalable cloud storage architectures. Propose hybrid storage strategies for seamless integration between cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Formulate comprehensive data lifecycle strategies and establish tiered storage models. Design cost-effective backup solutions with swift recovery times and evaluating cloud-native and hybrid archival methodologies. Implement encryption, access controls, and auditability across all storage layers to ensure data security and compliance. Optimize storage performance for varied workloads and collaborate with FinOps teams to implement cost-effective storage strategies. 40 hours per week.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in cloud storage solutions, hybrid storage integration, and data lifecycle management. (ALTERNATE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of experience in cloud storage solutions, hybrid storage integration, and data lifecycle management.) Also requires background in: designing scalable and efficient storage architectures; AI/ML or HPC or large-scale environments; AWS; Azure; NetApp infrastructure; RSYNC, and Snapmirror; and CIFS, NFS, SAN, S3. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $180,000 to $222,000 per year.
