Job summary

Tokio Marine North America Services is seeking an experienced solutions architect to lead architectural initiatives across .NET/Java platforms in the US. You will design, align, and implement technology roadmaps and enterprise integration patterns, collaborating with IT and business partners to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes architecture oversight, standards enforcement, and communication across teams and external partners to drive strategic technology outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in software, data & information systems, or solution architecture.
• A minimum of 5 years of solution design and development experience in a specific technology area.
• Experience in insurance industry P&C sector preferred.
• Ability to present IT solutions to business and IT management.
• Knowledge of insurance concepts, business models, processes and systems.
• Proven expertise in enterprise application and integration development and creating enterprise architectures and solutions.
• Advanced design and development skills in a specific technology area.
• Knowledge of architectures, data models, BI and data warehousing, IT security models, NoSQL technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions in a specific technology area and align with business/IT goals.
• Develop strategic roadmaps to support business strategies.
• Define and implement technology architecture and integration components.
• Collaborate with management to determine business requirements.
• Evaluate and apply new and emerging technologies and tools.
• Model business processes and assess technology impact on workflows.
• Produce architecture diagrams and deployment views.
• Coordinate with vendors/partners to ensure TMNAS standards.
