Job summary

American Airlines Credit Union is seeking a senior enterprise architect/analyst to guide the strategic direction of enterprise technology solutions. You will design integrated architectures, define data flows, and ensure interoperability across platforms to support growth and scalability.

You’ll lead cross‑functional collaboration, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive governance, standards, and risk management. ECBA certification within six months is required; TOGAF/CBAP/CCBA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, information systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of enterprise analysis or solution design experience.
• ECBA certification must be obtained within six months of hire; progression toward CBAP/CCBA encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise solution design and architecture discussions for complex initiatives and cross-platform technology implementations.
• Interpret strategic business goals into scalable and integrated technology solutions.
• Define integration strategies, data flows, and system interoperability approaches.
• Establish and maintain enterprise solution design standards, governance practices, and best practices.
• Ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment across all technology solutions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend consolidation, optimization, or modernization strategies.
• Assess new technologies and vendor platforms for alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Contribute to business case development, including strategic alignment and value realization.
• Identify risks, dependencies and impacts associated with solution designs.
• Facilitate solution design sessions and provide guidance to analysts and technical teams.
• Present solution strategies, recommendations, and trade-offs to senior leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
