Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to apply systems engineering principles across the life cycle and interact with Government stakeholders. The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and responsibility for technical integrity across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

Responsibilities include documentation, online dataflow/architecture maintenance, sprint planning, user-helpdesk support, and end-user testing coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s or PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• High School Diploma or GED with many years of experience in systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain documentation and slide decks requested by the customer.
• Maintain online documentation and ensure pages are current.
• Helpdesk support by handling access requests and bug reports; communicate with developers for feature requests.
• Facilitate release end-user testing.
• Lead Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings.

Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.

• Maintain/produce documentation including slide decks as requested by the customer, standard operating procedures, project overview and dataflow/architecture
• Maintaining online documentation by archiving out of date pages and ensuring all other pages are current
• Stay current and maintain capabilities compliance
• Run the Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings
• Assist with User Helpdesk by handling access requests, bug reports and communicate with developer leads when feature requests are received
• Facilitate release End user testing

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience; orA High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area); or A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related disciplinefrom an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience; orA PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
