Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to lead system administration, upgrades, and integration for SIGINT survey systems. You will work on Linux-based deployments, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable operations.

The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and willingness to travel for installations and support. Advanced networking, IaC, and automation are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; or substitute four years' experience; or MS in Engineering or CS.
• Requires Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of networks.
• LAN/CAN/WAN administration and optimization of connectivity between front-end and back-end components.
• Design, integrate, deploy, test, and maintain a variety of network devices.
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) admin and troubleshooting; scripting in Python and Bash.
• Build and maintain pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab; IaC with Ansible or Terraform.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes for deployment; manage clusters with high availability and security.
• Manage and monitor hybrid cloud/virtualized environments.
• Travel for information system installation and maintenance; 24/7 on-call support.

Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps;Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; or may substitute four (4) years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; or may substitute two (2) years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.

• Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks
• LAN/CAN/WAN administration
• Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices
• Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components
• Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for software deployment. Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• Experience with management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments
• Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) AND CCNA certification
