Job summary

Datadog is seeking a motivated Security Sales Engineer to join our enterprise sales engineering team. You will provide technical expertise, deliver compelling security solutions, and help drive adoption within target accounts.

You will collaborate with sales, demonstrate value, and stay current with Datadog's security products and industry trends as you travel up to 30% to meet customers and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and SOC workflows.
• Profound knowledge of EDR/MDR and security controls in live environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, developers, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Enterprise Security Sales in driving adoption of Datadog security offerings.
• Collaborate with sales to identify security requirements across enterprise customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and POCs highlighting security capabilities.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
• Develop proposals and documentation; relay customer feedback to PM/Eng.
• Engage in industry events and webinars to promote security solutions.
