Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Security Architect to serve as a domain expert across information security, guiding technology teams to design and operate systems with security-by-design principles.

You will define the security architecture operating model, develop practical roadmaps aligned to risk and business priorities, and provide governance across enterprise standards, patterns, and design practices while engaging with infrastructure, cloud, data, and identity controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience cumulatively across IT security, systems, networking, infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
• GIAC, (ISC)2, or equivalent certifications a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on architectural work.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the Security Architecture operating model and engagement processes.
• Develop and maintain security roadmaps aligned to business strategy and threat landscape.
• Evaluate architectures for alignment with security standards and risk posture.
• Provide architectural guidance across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, apps, data, and IAM.
• Drive security design reviews and integrate security tooling across delivery teams.
