Partner with the best

You will ensure our customers are engaged with us, ultimately securing the renewal and finding growth opportunities.

As an Enterprise Sales Executive New and Existing Accounts, you will be responsible for:

  • Growing existing contracts by increasing consumption of solution and cross-selling other security products to our customer base
  • Working with Customer Success to uncover roadblocks and work to remove them ahead of renewals
  • Gathering feedback from our customers to improve product development and customer retention
  • Working with the account team to negotiate renewals to scale, uncover use cases and convey value
  • Reporting and forecasting to management, based on your demonstrated knowledge of the health of your renewals business
  • Uncovering risk in accounts early and escalating risk to leadership when appropriate

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Show experience and success in a direct sales closing role, customer success role, or similar customer-facing role
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational/time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills appropriate to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Internet or cloud technologies or cybersecurity concepts

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $131,800 - $273,800/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
