Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland seeks innovative thinkers for an Enterprise Risk Management Internship onsite in Cleveland, OH. You will identify and assess risks, coordinate testing, and help prepare quarterly risk reports, briefing materials, and training content to expand risk knowledge across staff.

You are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in risk management, accounting, business, or finance with a 3.0+ GPA and at least one semester remaining.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Business, or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Should have at least one semester left to complete in school.
  • Strong computer/technical skills; proficiency with MS Office, Tableau, Power Apps, and Power BI.

  • Coordinate testing and reporting associated with incidents, control validation, and monitoring of key risk metrics.
  • Research, analyze risk data, and aid in preparing quarterly risk reports and briefing materials.

  • Aid in developing and hosting training and activities focused on expanding employees’ risk knowledge and advancing the Bank’s risk culture.
  • Prepare communications and training materials.
  • Assist the risk team on other activities and duties as assigned.

Enterprise Risk Management Internship

Identify and assess risks and controls within key processes. Coordinate the testing and reporting associated with incidents, control validation, and monitoring of key risk metrics. Requirements for Internships

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Business, or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Should have at least one semester left to complete in school. Strong computer/technical skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Tableau, Power Apps, and Power BI preferred. Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and ability to multitask. Ability to work both in a group setting and on an individual basis. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Our interns will work onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio location. We’re looking for collaborative and innovative full‑time students entering their sophomore year or beyond. Our student interns work 40 hours per week for the duration of a 10‑to‑12‑week internship that starts as early as June and ends as late as September, depending on student schedules and business needs. The expected starting salary range for this position is between $20.50 and $26.00 hourly. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
