Job summary

Scott Credit Union in Edwardsville, IL seeks a Risk and Assurance Manager to lead Enterprise Risk Management, vendor oversight, and the coordination of outsourced internal audits at our Home Office in Edwardsville. You will collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer to identify risks and implement comprehensive risk controls in a service-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and professionals with risk management or Enterprise Risk Management experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in risk management or ERM.
• Minimum two years prior management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk standards and best practices documentation required to support the risk program.
• Plan, manage, facilitate, and monitor operational risk and control assessments, as needed.
• Develop and maintain a risk and compliance repository for SCU including prioritized risks, controls, and risk responses.
• Act as the credit union’s liaison with regulators and enforcement agencies.
• Participate in project management and change management activities where regulatory controls may be impacted.
• Facilitate mitigation actions where improvements are needed.
• Assist in implementation of ERM and compliance software and programming; complete risk assessments for ERM.
• Own and administer the Vendor Management program including vendor due diligence and contract risk review.
• Own execution of the ERM framework including risk assessments, KRIs, and risk reporting.
• Serve as liaison and coordinator for outsourced internal audit function and coordinate regulatory examinations.
• Manage the credit union’s insurance program including bond coverage and broker-managed claims.
