Job summary

52 Limited is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager III for a remote contract role supporting a health insurance client. You will own large, complex initiatives from kickoff through closeout, leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, risks, and timelines while communicating with sponsors and senior leadership.

The role requires strong PMO and PMI/PMBOK familiarity, a track record of delivering on time and within budget, and the ability to mentor other project managers.

Enterprise Project Manager III | Contract | Remote

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Project Manager III to join our health insurance client for a remote contract opportunity with the potential to convert to full-time employment.

This is a senior-level project management role for someone who knows how to take ownership of large, complex initiatives from kickoff through closeout. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects at once, keep budgets and timelines on track, work through risks and resource constraints, and communicate clearly with business sponsors and senior leadership.

You should be comfortable stepping into a complex organization, bringing structure to moving pieces, and keeping teams focused on the work that needs to get done.

What You’ll Do

• Lead large-scale and concurrent projects from initiation through completion
• Build and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and resources
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change
• Identify potential delays or resource constraints and develop solutions to keep work moving
• Track project performance and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders and leadership
• Partner with business sponsors and teams to identify needs and implement solutions
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate decisions, risks and next steps
• Apply established project management methodologies and PMO standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other project managers and project team members

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of project and/or program management experience
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects, including projects exceeding $1M and cross-functional teams of 10+ people
• Experience managing multiple complex projects concurrently
• Strong project planning, budgeting, scope management and resource allocation experience
• Strong risk identification, mitigation and contingency-planning skills
• Experience working directly with business sponsors and senior-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated success delivering projects within budget, timeline and requirementsExcellent written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills
• Familiarity with formal project management methodologies, including PMI/PMBOK
• Experience with project management tools and reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment

Nice to Have

• PMP certification or other formal project management certification
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management or a related field
• Experience within healthcare, health insurance or another complex enterprise environment
• Experience mentoring or developing other project managers

• Must be willing and able to work Pacific Time Zone hours
• Some schedule flexibility, overtime or travel may occasionally be required

This position is being hired initially as a temporary contract role. While there is potential for full-time conversion, full-time employment is not guaranteed.
