Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Power BI - Data Engineering Lead (On-Site) to join our team in Westlake, TX or Raleigh, NC. This role leads enterprise Power BI initiatives, guides cross-functional teams, and drives performance across 20+ business units.

You will manage BI dashboards, gateways, and migrations to Microsoft Fabric, build robust batch and streaming data pipelines with Python and PowerShell, and ensure data security and governance in large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• 5+ years in Power BI, including framework development and capacity management.
• 5+ years of scripting in Python and PowerShell.
• 2+ years with Snowflake as primary cloud analytics platform.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage Power BI at the enterprise level across 20+ business units.
• Act as a first responder for Power BI dashboard issues and framework escalations.
• Maintain and enhance enterprise Power BI frameworks for automation, deployment, upgrades, and viz design.
• Perform POCs and adapt to evolving BI tools.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure visualization standards and performance optimization.
• Manage and automate Power BI Gateway deployments across 200+ VMs.
• Support migration to Microsoft Fabric capacity and manage premium capacity environments.
• Ensure secure handling of highly confidential data with full encryption protocols.
• Troubleshoot Snowflake connectivity and optimize queries for performance.
• Build and maintain robust batch and streaming data pipelines using Python and PowerShell.
