Job summary

CompassX Group is seeking an experienced Solutions/Platform Architect in Irvine to lead overall architecture for strategic initiatives. You will translate business strategy into architectural roadmaps and coordinate with engineers, product owners, and business leadership to ensure safe, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes integrity, performance, and security within high-regulation environments, with a focus on modernizing and integrating complex multi-system stacks.

Qualifications

• Strong background in specialized architecture with platform focus.
• Experience with at least one major enterprise platform (e.g., Aladdin, CRM, or core financial systems) and integration patterns.
• Ability to design conceptual architectures for multi-system environments and perform feasibility assessments.
• Experience in high-regulation verticals (financial services) and navigating legacy stacks without disrupting operations.
• Excellent communication to explain trade-offs and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity and adaptability to deepen platform knowledge and architectural craft.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall architecture for key initiatives and ensure future-state designs are viable and integrated.
• Translate strategies into actionable architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and project sequencing.
• Evaluate enterprise tools and define data exchange and controls end-to-end.
• Create architectural models, feasibility checks, and identify integration risks proactively.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to align design and timelines.
• Champion system integrity, performance, and security across legacy and complex environments.
• Document decisions, standards, and patterns for consistent implementation.
• Stay current on platform capabilities and emerging technologies to inform modernization.
