Job summary

Morongo Band of Mission Indians is seeking a full-time security officer to protect tribal assets at Morongo Enterprises locations. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to incidents to maintain safety and property security.

Under supervision, you must hold a current BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Weapons Permit, plus a valid Baton and OC Spray Permit (obtainable within 60 days). A high school diploma and CA driver license are required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory possession of a current BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Weapons Permit.
• Valid BSIS Baton and OC Spray Permit (may be obtained within 60 days of hire).
• A minimum of six months related experience requested.
• Ability to pass a stringent background is required.
• Must have his/her own duty belt and boots.
• Candidates will go through a computer skills assessment.
• Required to maintain a valid CA Driver License and insurability on Morongo’s vehicle insurance.
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (may obtain within 60 days of hire)
• Work any and all patrols shifts including holidays and any special assignments. Work overtime when required.
