Job summary

Kforce Inc. in New York, NY, is seeking an Associate Director of Enterprise Network Security to lead a team responsible for strategy, design, and operations of the enterprise security architecture in a large-scale, hybrid environment.

The role blends leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on Palo Alto technologies, F5, WAFs, and modernization initiatives while coordinating across infrastructure, cloud, and applications teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network security environments, particularly Palo Alto technologies and centralized firewall management platforms.
• Experience with F5 technologies, load balancing, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and/or Forescout is a strong plus.
• Strong operational and incident management background within large enterprise environments.
• Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or modernization initiatives.
• Ability to balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise network security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and security professionals.
• Oversee implementation and maintenance of enterprise security technologies.
• Drive incident response coordination, escalation management, and remediation efforts.
• Lead infrastructure assessments, risk mitigation, and security hardening initiatives.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams on enterprise security initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, hardware lifecycle planning, and budget allocation.
• Promote a security-first operational culture across the organization.
