Job summary

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, seeks an Associate Director, Network Security to shape and execute cybersecurity strategy in a complex enterprise environment. The role emphasizes safeguarding networks, systems, and data assets with strategic initiatives and team leadership.

The candidate will guide a team of network security professionals, manage security infrastructure, and drive incident response and risk mitigation across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network security experience in large, complex organizations.
• Proven leadership experience managing security teams and supervisory capabilities.
• Hands-on with enterprise network security tools, especially F5 and Palo Alto firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive network security strategy aligned with organizational goals and risk appetite.
• Lead and mentor a team of network security specialists to foster high performance.
• Architect and maintain secure network infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access controls.
• Establish and lead incident response procedures with investigations, remediation, and recovery actions.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate risks.
• Promote security awareness organization-wide through training and education initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships with security technology providers to ensure compliant solutions.
• Monitor and report security performance metrics to senior leadership and track risk posture.
