Job summary

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking a Network Engineering Manager to manage the organization’s networking infrastructure and ensure stable operations. Ideal candidates should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and at least four years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience. Required certifications include Cisco CCNP, CCSP, or similar.

Qualifications

• Four years of work experience in communications systems or IT infrastructure.
• One year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Cisco certifications required within 12 months if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of network engineers and SMEs.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and SLAs are met.
• Lead resolution of level 3 incidents and problems.

Skills

Deep understanding of network segmentation and networking protocols (EIGRP, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QOS)

Data Center Operations and networking experience

Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience leading Voice over IP infrastructure including Call Center implementation

Education

Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
