Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN, VPN, and wireless networking.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting firewalls, security controls, and remote connectivity.
• Experience supporting multi-site environments and complex network architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience monitoring and resolving network performance issues.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Google Cloud and/or IBM Cloud networking.
• Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers.
• Hands-on Fortinet FortiGate products.
• Experience supporting global connectivity.
• Collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Network+.
• Experience modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure
• Administer and support switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and structured cabling
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity
• Maintain secure connectivity between MMNA sites, Japan headquarters, cloud environments, and third-party partners
• Configure and support WAN, VPN, remote access, and hybrid cloud networking solutions
• Support network connectivity for cloud-hosted applications and services
• Partner with Information Security teams to implement network security standards, firewall policies, and access controls
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities
• Lead or contribute to infrastructure upgrades, modernization efforts, and strategic technology projects
• Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures
• Assume day-to-day network support ownership and contribute to ongoing projects and modernization initiatives
• Build relationships with IT, Security, and business stakeholders while improving network performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency
• Serve as a trusted Network Engineer and key backup for connectivity, infrastructure, and disaster recovery operations
• Deliver network improvements and strategic projects enhancing stability, security, and scalability
