• Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager) is strongly preferred; equivalent depth in Palo Alto or Cisco will be considered.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're are actively recruiting for a Network Engineer who brings with them a strong background in Fortinet. This is a hands-on role with the majority of the work focused on project engineering but also includes some operations support. Networking is the primary focus but this role will allow for exposure to hybrid identity, cloud connectivity, and enterprise systems work.

On the project side, this will be a key role for the organization as they role out enterprise FortiNAC rollout across all sites, shift toward a Zero Trust network model, micro-segmentation, and consolidating multi-banner network environments into a centralized FortiManager-orchestrated architecture.

What you need to bring to the table:

• 4+ years of multi-site network operation supporting routing, switching + firewall policy across multiple locations
• Enterprise networking hands-on experience configuring + troubleshooting firewalls, routing, switching, and VPN across a complex multi-site environment.
• Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager) is strongly preferred; but equivalent depth in Palo Alto or Cisco will be considered.
• PCI-DSS experience in a retail environment is a plusHybrid cloud connectivity experience supporting secure connectivity between physical infrastructure + cloud environments in AWSExperience with firewall policy design, segmentation, and least-privilege access
• Zero Trust/NAC exposure with familiarity with 802.1X + Network Access Control concepts
• Hands-on experience with FortiNAC, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, or any NAC platform
