Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport in Florida seeks an experienced Network Engineer to deploy and support mission-critical network infrastructure across Route/Switch, Security, and Wireless. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor systems, document issues, and ensure milestones are met in a 24x7 healthcare environment.

The role requires 3+ years in network infrastructure, Cisco expertise, and strong communication. Healthcare experience is a plus; full-time daytime schedule in Florida.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP, OSI, subnets.
• Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security devices.
• Hands-on experience with wireless controllers, APs, and management systems.
• Technical writing and documentation skills.
• Able to manage network-related projects across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE, ASA, Nexus and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience performing wireless site surveys and capacity planning.
• Ability to collaborate with application, business, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support enterprise network infrastructure (Route/Switch, Security, Wireless).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain network sites.
• Monitor, diagnose, document, and resolve network issues; provide root-cause analysis.
• Participate in business planning to propose cost-effective network solutions.
• Document projects and support activities for team references.
• Submit status reports and provide updates in meetings.
• Assist in deployment of topology architecture, security, and connectivity.
• Perform network device installation, configuration, and maintenance.
