Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Enterprise Medical Director for a remote leadership role in the Finance & Insurance space. You will guide medical decision-making, quality improvement, and clinical oversight across core operations, partnering with business and clinical stakeholders to shape utilization management and medical economics insights.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD/DO, with 5+ years of clinical experience and managed care exposure; an MBA/Healthcare Admin is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical program required.
• Completion of a residency training program, preferably in primary care.
• Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience.
• Managed care medical review or medical director experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Medical Management preferred.

For our client, we are seeking a Enterprise Medical Director to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This remote leadership role will guide medical decision-making, quality improvement, and clinical oversight across core operational functions. The position will partner closely with business and clinical stakeholders to shape utilization management practices, support compliance requirements, and strengthen medical economics insights. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of clinical credibility and managed care experience to help improve outcomes, support appropriate care decisions, and advance operational effectiveness.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $195,200 – $341,600 annually
