Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Architect to design Ecolab’s enterprise container platform across Azure, AWS, and future GCP. This hands-on architect sets standards for the Kubernetes and SRE teams, building a secure, governed, templated baseline for all microservices running in production.

The role requires 8+ years building production Kubernetes at enterprise scale, deep cloud experience, and strong scripting with Python/Go.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and running production Kubernetes at enterprise scale.
• 3+ years as an architect.
• Deep expertise with a managed Kubernetes service (AKS, EKS, or GKE).
• Proven cloud-agnostic design across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong scripting and communication skills.
• Hardened Kubernetes to CIS standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise Kubernetes reference architecture across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Architect portable clusters across AKS and EKS; model Azure AKS build.
• Define Terraform/Helm module strategy and CI/CD + GitOps standards.
• Ensure security, observability, and CIS hardening.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers in the US and India.
