Job summary

Handshake is hiring an Implementation Manager for Employer Customer Success to be the first touchpoint after the sale. You will help build a scalable onboarding function for enterprise and strategic customers in their first 60–90 days, aligning employers with goals and a clear success plan.

You will establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, translate business goals into measurable outcomes, and drive adoption through structured implementations and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing role with project management experience.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills, written & verbal, with customers & internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building relationships & trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
• Strong project & time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementations at once.
• Data-informed approach, with the ability to communicate outcomes in a compelling & tangible way.
• Flexible, creative problem solver who is scrappy, curious, & finds another way when one door closes.

About the Role

As the Implementation Manager for Employer Customer Success, you’ll be the first touchpoint after the sale, reporting to the Director of Customer Success. You’ll help build a scalable onboarding function that delights our enterprise & strategic customers in their first 60-90 days with Handshake. Your focus is building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and aligning employers on their goals, so every partner launches with a clear plan and a path to success.

Desired Capabilities

• 5+ years in a customer-facing role with project management experience (customer success, customer education, onboarding, or implementation)

• Excellent executive-level communication skills, written & verbal, with customers & internal stakeholders

• Proven track record of building relationships & trust quickly with senior stakeholders

• Strong project & time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementations at once

• Data-informed approach, with the ability to communicate outcomes in a compelling & tangible way
