Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Gateway and Controllers Platform Product Manager in the United States. You will own the gateway and controller hardware platform strategy and roadmap, coordinating with multiple business units to execute on a unified platform vision while balancing customer value, cost, and performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining enterprise roadmaps, driving adoption plans, and leading voice-of-customer efforts for EdgeX and RTOS platforms. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in product management, marketing, support or platform management.
• 3+ years supporting embedded software products, platforms, or engineering development processes.
• 3+ years using data, analytics, AI/ML, or BI to inform product strategy.
• No relocation; candidates within 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH; Menomonee Falls, WI; Moon Township, PA; or Raleigh, NC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the enterprise roadmap for gateway and controller hardware platforms, including portfolio consolidation, standardization, lifecycle planning, supplier strategy, and investment priorities.
• Partner with hardware-adopting Eaton business units to define adoption plans and assist in their execution of commercial activities, including value propositions, pricing inputs, market positioning, launch readiness, sales enablement, and go-to-market coordination.
• Own voice-of-customer activities for EdgeX and RTOS platforms, gathering input from internal adopters, external customers, engineering teams, and market research.
• Define and maintain the EdgeX and RTOS platform roadmaps, translating customer needs, business priorities, technology trends, and engineering constraints into prioritized platform capabilities.
