Job summary

myBridge Corporation is seeking a Firewall Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise firewall infrastructure, protecting networks and digital assets across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will configure security policies, manage traffic rules, monitor performance, investigate incidents, and collaborate with security, network operations, and cloud teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as required; certifications like PCNSE, Fortinet NSE/FCP, CCNP Security are beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and policy design.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid network security environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls and network security policies.
• Implement access-control rules, network segmentation, and traffic filtering.
• Review firewall rules to minimize risk and unnecessary access.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and firewall-related incidents.
• Support firewall upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes.
• Monitor firewall logs and investigate suspicious activity.
• Maintain documentation of firewall configurations and changes.
• Collaborate with security teams on incident response and remediation.
• Participate in security audits and compliance assessments.
