Job summary

MHP – A Porsche Company is seeking a Firewall Engineer to implement and support enterprise firewall infrastructure, including Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Juniper. You will design, build, and maintain secure configurations across multiple sites under the guidance of the Senior Cyber Security Architect.

The role requires expertise in security best practices, routing (BGP), VPNs, and incident response. Onsite work is in Chattanooga, TN with occasional after-hours support and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Security Operations or Data Security/Privacy.
• Hands-on production level experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls.
• Configure and deploy firewall changes and new hardware.
• Analyze existing firewall configurations for improvement and automation.
• Manage and perform upgrades based on lifecycle and security bulletins.
• Document and address cybersecurity architecture and system security requirements.
• Ensure secure configuration management across systems.
• Provide actionable mitigation recommendations from test results.
• Occasional travel and outside-hours support as needed.
