Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team seeks an Enterprise Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager to support a government client at sites in Aurora, CO and Las Cruces, NM. The role focuses on leading operations, maintenance, and safety for critical infrastructure and ensuring mission readiness.

This contingent position requires a TS/SCI with polygraph, a high school diploma, and at least five years in facilities operations with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

• Minimum 5 years of facilities operations experience.
• Minimum 3 consecutive years of supervisory experience in facilities operations.
• Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining power generation, chilled water, and large-scale facilities equipment.
• Personnel management with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of project management concepts (schedule, scope, cost, risk, deliverables).
• Familiarity with a 24/7/365 operational environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate in a complex and changing environment with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities operations and maintenance teams across the site, coordinating and overseeing critical and non-critical infrastructure maintenance and safety.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of all critical and non-critical equipment to prevent mission interruptions.
• Manage critical spares inventory for mission essential equipment to prevent unplanned outages.
• Interpret and implement maintenance policy and procedures.
• Notify designated points of contact and Operations personnel on significant events; summarize events and remediation plans for site management.
• Update and rewrite maintenance SOPs annually with site engineering collaboration.
• Manage training plans for 24/7 employees to ensure a well-trained workforce.
• Integrate new construction projects into the maintenance program, develop testing requirements and coordinate site acceptance reviews.

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Enterprise Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager to join our team supporting a government client in Aurora, Colorado and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage facilities operations and maintenance teams of the site by coordinating and managing the work including, but not limited to, critical and non-critical infrastructure maintenance and providing a safe work environment for all site personnel
• Manage preventative maintenance work of all critical and non-critical equipment to prevent mission interruptions
• Manage critical spares inventory for mission essential equipment to prevent unplanned outages
• Interpret and implement maintenance policy and procedures
• Notify designated GPOCs and/or Operations personnel on facility significant events; ability to compile summaries of events, critical actions accomplished, plans for completion remediation, and brief to site management in various forums
• Update and rewrite maintenance SOPs annually with coordination and collaboration with site engineering
• Manage training plans for 24/7 employees ensuring a well-trained workforce to respond to site anomalies
• Integrate new construction projects into maintenance program, development of testing requirements and coordination of site acceptance review.

Qualifications

Required

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of facilities operations experience
• Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of supervisory experience in the field of facilities operations
• Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining power generation, chilled water, and large-scale facilities equipment
• Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
• Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment
• Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills
• Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment

Desired

• Seven (7) years of facilities operations experience
• Four (4) consecutive years of facilities operations supervisory experience

Basic Compensation

$107,500 - $131,400 (CO area only)

$97,700 - $119,400 (NM area only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
