Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager to support a government client in Aurora, Colorado and Las Cruces, New Mexico. This contingent role focuses on managing facilities operations, maintenance teams, and 24/7 readiness to prevent mission interruptions.

Required are TS/SCI clearance, a HS diploma, and 5+ years in facilities operations with 3+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities operations experience.
• Minimum 3 consecutive years of supervisory experience in facilities operations.
• Experience operating and maintaining power generation, chilled water, and large-scale facilities equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities operations and maintenance teams across site, ensuring safe work environment.
• Oversee preventative maintenance for critical and non-critical equipment to avoid mission interruptions.
• Manage critical spares inventory for mission-essential equipment to prevent outages.
• Interpret and implement maintenance policy and SOPs; coordinate with site engineering.
• Notify GPOCs and site personnel of significant events; summarize actions and remediation plans for management.
• Develop and update maintenance SOPs annually with site engineering.

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Enterprise Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager to join our team supporting a government client in Aurora, Colorado and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage facilities operations and maintenance teams of the site by coordinating and managing the work including, but not limited to, critical and non-critical infrastructure maintenance and providing a safe work environment for all site personnel
• Manage preventative maintenance work of all critical and non-critical equipment to prevent mission interruptions
• Manage critical spares inventory for mission essential equipment to prevent unplanned outages
• Interpret and implement maintenance policy and procedures
• Notify designated GPOCs and/or Operations personnel on facility significant events; ability to compile summaries of events, critical actions accomplished, plans for completion remediation, and brief to site management in various forums
• Update and rewrite maintenance SOPs annually with coordination and collaboration with site engineering
• Manage training plans for 24/7 employees ensuring a well-trained workforce to respond to site anomalies
• Integrate new construction projects into maintenance program, development of testing requirements and coordination of site acceptance review.

Qualifications

Required

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of facilities operations experience
• Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of supervisory experience in the field of facilities operations
• Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining power generation, chilled water, and large-scale facilities equipment
• Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
• Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment
• Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills
• Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment

Desired

• Seven (7) years of facilities operations experience
• Four (4) consecutive years of facilities operations supervisory experience

Basic Compensation

$107,500 - $131,400 (CO area only)

$97,700 - $119,400 (NM area only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
