Job summary

Leidos is seeking a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. This role covers implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies across on-premises and cloud resources, with work locations including Omaha, NE and other sites.

The position requires hands-on experience with F5 appliances, PKI certificates, SSL/TLS offloading, and 24/7/365 operations support.

Qualifications

• Experience administering F5 load balancers in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS offloading and PKI certificate management.
• Experience backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
• Ability to create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP spaces.
• Experience working independently and with teams.
• Familiar with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SSL offloading and PKI features are operational.
• Back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates.
• Alert customers before certificate expiration and assist renewals.
• Create and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
• Develop and implement technical solutions with engineers and architects.
• Provide after-hours support for 24/7 IT Operations.
• Update documentation and procedures for 24/7 operations.
